Actually, if you are going to carry a gun, that is wise advice. Because a gun has only one purpose: To kill people. If you don't plan and prepare to kill people with it, it's just an especially dangerous paperweight and you should leave it at home.
Which means, since most people are not sociopaths who always plan to kill people, that 99% of people who aren't cops or security guards should leave their gun at home. But somehow I doubt that guns.com realized what this is what they were saying...
