Republican/Teabaggers always want to vouch for what works

Or should I say voucher for what works. Paul Krugman looks at the Mittens recent suggestion about replacing Veterans Health care with inadequate vouchers. He attempts to explain why Mittens or anyone would want to replace what has become the most successful health care delivery system in this country with a proven insufficient joke.
It’s literally a fundamental article of faith in the G.O.P. that the private sector is always better than the government, and no amount of evidence can shake that credo.

In fact, it’s hard to avoid the sense that Republicans are especially eager to dismantle government programs that act as living demonstrations that their ideology is wrong. Bloated military budgets don’t bother them much — Mr. Romney has pledged to reverse President Obama’s defense cuts, despite the fact that no such cuts have actually taken place. But successful programs like veterans’ health, Social Security and Medicare are in the crosshairs.
Paul does fall short of pointing out that the funds then spent on helping the public can then be diverted to a select few private pockets. Paul has always had trouble believing in the true evil of people in power.
