The New York Times does frackin' Fracking
In a preview of Sunday's magazine, you can read all about the joys and sorrows of fracking. What it comes down to is simple. The frackers don't really know what happens down below. They won't tell anybody what kind of shit they put in the wells. They are sloppy, lazy and careless with the returned fluids from the wells and often fail to dispose of them safely or properly. And in the end, they aren't poisoning any rich people so who really cares.
