Is the Internet the new radio?

Put your music out there for free and you will get fans. Get enough and they will buy your albums and tickets to your shows and make you a star. A simple business model that the traditional recording industry couldn't figure out but the up and coming musicians are keenly aware of.

Sort of like hearing new music on the radio like we did in the old days.

Comments:
All I listen to Mont is streaming listener supported radio. Over all KDNK out of Carbondale is the best I think but most have their moments. The campus station 1190 AM out of Boulder and KGNU from the same place are right up there as well. Can't do much for support anymore though. There may be more in your area just because there's more people.

Mr Fly we can only teach the children what good music is. They are the ones who will support the next wave.

I like streaming WKZE from the Hudson Valley and Jazz.fm from Toronto when I am in the mood.
