The Afghan Air Force begins

Ferry pilots from Aviation Dynamix delivered the first three Cessna 182T aircraft to the Afghan Air Force on Sunday.
The pilots flew more than 50 hours on the trip to Shindand, Afghanistan, said Sarah Grosvenor, Aviation Dynamix operations manager.
Pilots will leave this week to deliver another three Cessna 182 Turbos.
The single-engine aircraft will be used for initial flight training.
Eventually, Aviation Dynamix will deliver another 26 208B Caravans to Afghanistan.
A mix of fighters and bombers.

Thing is, if these little Cessnas were equipped with 250 pound GPS-guided bombs they'd be just as effective as the multi-million-dollar F-16 fighter jets whipping around the sky there -- they burn less fuel, they're a more stable bombing platform, and they're plenty fast to fly in places where there's no enemy with SAM's and anti-aircraft weaponry to fire at you. That's a little secret that the MIC doesn't want you to know -- that there is literally no purpose to the expensive jet fighters they sell for 99% of what those jet fighters are tasked to do.

Since the war merchants were able to build missiles that hit the same target three times successfully, there has been no need for an air force. There has been absolutely no need for aircraft carriers and their support ships since the B-52 fleet was built. Submarines are worthless junk.
