And what will happen to the Afghan economy if we leave?
Probably the same thing that happened to the Vietnamese economy after we left, it will collapse. The development money will dry up and the Karzai family will all retire to Dubai with their stolen $Billions. The rest of the country will go back to their mud brick and jackass way of life. Even the Taliban controlled areas will resume opium cultivation and the sands of time will erase the traces of our presence long before the Afghans memories will.
