Oil execs can whine and pout and cry
But they really can't come up with a good reason why they and the industry would be harmed if they lost a tax subsidy that was meant to help in times on very low oil prices. Or as Chuck Schumer put it.
Schumer said the average American would more readily believe that a unicorn had appeared before the committee than that the oil companies needed tax incentives.
