Voters relish the idea of buying a Pig-in-a-Poke
Once upon a time, voters would have put a man like Rick Scott in jail instead of potentially in the Florida Governors mansion. For his part, Mr Scott claims he knew nothing about the massive fraud that sustained his hospital empire until it was exposed. This should also disqualify Scott as a totally incompetent executive, something that no state needs at this time. Sadly it seems that voters across the country have been afflicted with a mass insanity.
He runs his campaign less like a public official in training than an investor planning a hostile takeover β from headquarters high up in a Fort Lauderdale office tower with a security guard keeping track of who gets in.Hostile takeover indeed. Let us hope enough people in Florisda are hostile to stop Rick Scott from getting unfettered access to the state treasury.
