Junior Varsity Quote of the Day

From everybody's favorite minor league pundit
in two years the national debt will be 100% of GDP and that's unsustainable...There aren't enough rich people in this country to pay down the debt to the extent is needs to be paid down.
Tucker Carlson, the man who put the nit in nitwit, failing to note the redistribution of wealth in this country.

Comments:
Tucker Carlson might want to note that most people have a mortgage that is 300% of their income and manage just fine. You don't have to pay it off tomorrow, after all -- you have decades to pay it off.

But Tucker is unaware of that, of course, because the stupid twit rich boy was born with a silver foot in his mouth. So it goes.

BTW, as I've repeatedly pointed out, less than $4B of the "national debt" actually *is* a debt, owed to foreigners. The rest is money owed to us, from us. It's as if I took money from the cookie jar in my kitchen and now owe it to myself. Money that I owe myself is fundamentally different from money that I owe someone else.
