Jonathan Chait gives us a reason why an Old Fart presidency might not be so bad.
Yet the upside to a candidate who changes his philosophical orientation as often as McCain is that he could always switch back.Just like Granpa's old mule which would switch back 'n forth so much we had to put him down. Which was just as well because we hadn't bought nothin' for the barbecue that evening.
