All you need to know about Republican rule.
The report of the Inspector General of the Justice Department details the FBI's response to torture in Guantanamo and faults the agency for a less than perfect effort. To do so, it compiled a fairly complete record of torture and just who was complicit in that torture, without a word of approbation for the multiple criminal acts that entailed. That must have been a very narrowly defined mission the IG was given. Congrats to them for not going overboard.
