Now they look at them

The Army is now taking a close look at the many supply contracts for the troops in Iraq. Four years in is a lot of money under the bridge but hopefully it will be better late than never.
This team of 10 auditors, criminal investigators and acquisition experts are starting with a sampling of the roughly 6,000 contracts worth $2.8 billion issued by an Army office in Kuwait that service officials have identified as a hub of corruption.

The office, located at Camp Arifjan, buys gear and supplies to support U.S. troops as they move in and out of Iraq. The pace of that operation has exploded since the beginning of the Iraq war in March 2003.

Based on what the team finds, the probe may expand and the number of Army military and civilian employees accused of accepting bribes and kickbacks could grow, U.S. officials told The Associated Press. Nearly two dozen have been charged so far.
Happy hunting, guys!

Comments:
Why is the Army investigating itself once again. How stupid is the American Taxpayer to accept this.

Congress needs to disband the Army. They have proved time and again to be led by incompetent and immoral officers.

Let the Air Force take over the wars and all of contracting. Army - try graduating from businesses schools aside from Pheonix University and leave the contractign to the professionals

U.S. Taxpayers.

It is time to disband the U.S. Army and send the retards home.

Let only the U.S. Marines and U.S. Air Force remain.

Our reputation and integrity depend upon this decision by Congress.

At Camp Arifjan, CACI tried to put away 12 months worth of invoices into contract folders only to discover over 250 contract folders missing. It is humorous to note that across the street from Contracting, Building T-346, is a Wood Pallet Schredder - how convenient for those wishing to hide their activities.

Another thing to note is that King Colonel Alexander locks down all Army personnel - thus creating a prison environment among "inmates"

There is nothing dangerous about Kuwait - except the dangers of being kept captive at Camp Arifjan.

Czar Alexander has created a duplicate Federal Badge system with no reason except to enrich the builder of the badging system and Colonel Alexander's close friends whom he is dependant upon for base security, the company CSA.

American, ask why is it that your loved soldiers are dependant upon a corporation which by all accounts I have seen - is worse than KBR.

To Camp Arifjan, CSA is what KBR is to the Green Zone. The life support and in the pockets of local commanders.
