A fount of compassion
Radio talk show host “Dr. Laura” Schlessinger is tired of all the complaints she hears from military wives who say they’re lonely and overwhelmed.In fairness to the douchebag, her son is deployed to Iraq and she doesn't whine, which may be an indicator of how much she cares about him.
“You’re not dodging bullets, so I don’t want to hear any whining — that’s my message to them,” said Schlessinger

Poor Schlessinger, she's tired of all the complaints she hears from military wives who say they’re lonely and overwhelmed. And that's not a complaint from her? They must really annoy her.
We are her neighbors and sure hope people do more research on who she actually is.
This was in an article, "And while she praised fathers who leave home for military service, she wouldn't answer when asked how she feels about mothers who do the same. 'I'm going to leave that alone,' she said."
She writes twice a week for the Santa Barbara News-Press where she wrote "Feminism gets a shot in the headscarf" on April 1, 2007. It's behind a paywall. She wanted the British hostages court martialled and taked about women in the military. Too bad people don't know what she said. She's slick. I'll try to send a link, if you click image you can read it. Pardon all the other, it's a guy thing! ( Deryk's fiancé is one of the boobs) Schlessinger has also mentioned women in military on the radio. It doesn't fit her June Cleaver ideals.
In local matters, Schlessinger is supporting the Santa Barbara News-Press in the child porn scandal, they are smearing a former employee by indicating he is the one, it's more about winning a $25million lawsuit. If you're interested in what goes on in the newspaper business it's an on going story. Schlessinger and the News-Press gang are scurrilous.

She would put her son before her connections and her conservative status any day, and she proves it!!
You are all predictable drones who spew the same "thoughts" that have been thought up by liberal extremists. I'll actually start taking you all seriously once you actually form a thought on your own for once. The SBNP "scandal" all stems from "journalists" writting editorials, just like they do now for the Independent. McCaw was right to get rid of those who "reported" biased news.
