John McCain has an NSS moment

When asked what the options are if the Bush/McCain surge fails in its vague purpose, Sen John McCain had this response:
"I don't know what the other options are because if we fail here I think it's going to be very difficult to maintain the support of the American people,"
But even though he doesn't know what to do, he wants to be president. After 8 years of Our Dear Embattled Leader, the American public might have a problem with that.
