Different cooks, same thin gruel
On the day that the report on the Office of Special Plans, Doug "Fucking stupidest guy on the face of the earth" Feith's custom intelligence caterers group, comes out, we are treated to another tasteless and insubstantial entree of Bushovik "intelligence" by the current Secretary of Defense. And like the original concoction, this too is designed to seduce an abused public into supporting a war against an unnecessary enemy. This time Iran is the target of choice. The difference this time around is that the superbly capable US military machine has had it most important ground elements ground down, worn out, used up and strained to the limits. Stuck in the middle if "Indian country", they are in no position take on a new fight, but to the folks in the White House, the agenda dictates their reality. And so Our Dear Embattled Leader continues to rattle an empty scabbard at Teheran. No doubt they plan to crush Iran with air power, like we did to North Viet Nam.
