That was the message delivered by British Prime Minister Tony Blair when he dropped in unannounced in Iraq. The official reason was to discuss the handover to Iraqi forces as the Brits buggered out. Coincidentally he was in town for another big event.
Prime Minister Tony Blair of Britain pledged his support for the Iraqi government in a surprise visit here on Sunday. Less than a mile from where he spoke, gunmen in police uniforms seized 25 employees of an Iraqi aid organization.And wouldn't you know it, that was the event that got all the press. The life of a poodle can be a real bitch sometimes.
