The B-25 Mitchell first made its mark in the Doolittle Raid on Tokyo during the dark, early days of the war. It went on to serve admirably and reliably in all theaters of the war in a multitude of missions and aircraft layouts. A workhorse medium bomber, it is often remembered as an attack bomber with six .50 cal machine guns and a 75mm cannon in its nose.

I saw this 'plane in Fresno, CA during the Dolittle flyover in 2000.
