Louie the Louse Gohmert was a judge
Before he was elected to Congress from the 1st District. If his current record is any indication, he was so batshit crazy that he was unqualified for any judiciary position. Witness his current theory about President Obama's secret plot to take over the United States.
Seems to me anybody convicted of anything in Judge Louie's court has grounds for reversal because Judge Louie presided.
