Creepy politics GOP style

The Log Cabin Republicans are holding a fund raiser and giving an award to John Cornyn and Pete Sessions. The award is
the Barry Goldwater Award recognizing "leaders in the Republican Party who have served their nation with distinction in the model of the late Senator Barry Goldwater.
What makes this award strange is that Barry Goldwater would be appalled at having to serve in Congress with the likes of these two Texican douchbags. And neither douche has done anything positive for gays.

This strikes me as being like the "Jews For Hitler" cheering the opening of the new camp at Auschwitz.

blogrolling apparently has been compromised (again!), may want to move on. I'm using Google Reader for my blogrolls now.

Anyhow, isn't Cornyn the guy who said that gay marriage would lead to man-on-turtle sex or something stupid like that? And a supposed gay organization is gonna give him an award? How stupid can those log cabin Repubs be anyhow? Oh wait, they're Republicans. Nevermind :).
