The question you can ask, but can not answer

Over at the Firedoglake, Cynthia Kouril is asking the question on everyone's lips following the suit filed against Goldmine Sachs. Why would a large and respected investment house throw away its hard earned reputation to benefit one customer at the expense of another? And going forward, who would believe any answer they might give?
