One way to cover your ass
Put your favorite buttboy in Congress to make sure nobody says anything mean about you. That is what Bloody Don Blankenshit, CEO of Massey Energy is trying to do. Elliot "Spike" Maynard was previously Bloody Don's paid stooge on the WV Supreme Court but when it became obvious to all that Spike was bought and paid for he lost his re-election bid. So now he's running for Congress, as a Republican.
