Which side are you on ?

Nancy Pelosi is going to give her House colleagues an opportunity to publicly state their position on the disgusting racist tweets of Mango Mussolini as he sits in the White House with his arms crossed and his lower lip pushed out, wondering why he isn't loved by all.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Monday urged support for an upcoming resolution that would condemn tweets by President Trump in which he said that a group of minority, liberal congresswomen should “go back” to their home countries.

In a letter to Democratic colleagues, Pelosi said that Trump had gone “beyond his own low standards using disgraceful language about Members of Congress” and that Democrats would “forcefully respond to these disgusting acts.”

Her announcement of the resolution came as Trump doubled down on his criticism of the female lawmakers, accusing them of “racist hatred” and suggesting they apologize to the United States, Israel and him.

A vote rebuking Trump for targeting the so-called “Squad”— a group of liberal freshmen that includes Reps. Ayanna Pressley (Mass.), Rashida Tlaib (Mich.), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (N.Y.) and Ilhan Omar (Minn.) – could unify a Democratic caucus that has been engaged an outright civil war in recent days.

And a House vote condemning Trump would also put Republicans on record about comments that have been widely criticized as racist. Congressional Republicans have largely stayed silent on the matter, fearful of chastising a leader in the White House who is popular with the GOP base.
This will be in the house only as Mitch never lets anything more vital than a post office naming in the Senate if it comes from Pelosi. It will be interesting to see what the Republicans do, even the ones who have quietly squeaked about their unhappiness with his tweets.
