Super Congress fails with a mousy little squeak
After spending crucial time trying to make a bad deal even worse, it appears that the Republican/Teabaggers are in their own little way, just as stupid as the Democrats. While the Democrats were perfectly willing to cut their own throats by offering up Social Security and Medicare, the Republican/Teabaggers would not let them because it would raise taxes. Now we should be able to look forward to cuts in defense spending. It won't happen because one thing these douchebags are good at is protecting the place of their Merchants of Death at the governments golden tit.
