Ah yes, one of my favorite lesbian musicians. Brandi got unfairly lumped in with all the waif-with-guitar musicians who came along about the same time as Jewel, a confusion deliberately fostered by her record label who put her on the cover of her first album looking like, well, a waif with a guitar, and few people have given her a second look since. Sad to say, that's the story of far too many good musicians' lives...
