Step 1 Blow up mine, kill workers...Step 3 Make profit
Massey Energy, in an effort to show the underpants gnomes how it should be done, has figured out what Step 2 should be. Having achieved Step 1 by failing to have adequate mine ventilation, Massey Energy has decided that Step 2 is to take MSHA to court.
Massey Energy claims in a federal lawsuit that it should be able to ventilate its underground mines as it sees fit unless the Mine Safety and Health Administration can prove the company is endangering miners' health and safety.That coal business must be tougher than hell if 29 dead miners is not considered "endangering miners' health and safety".
