Brother can you spare a dime?
Last week we posted a YouTube clip of a very funny ad from a local fast food chain here in the District. They are locally renowned for their use of humor in the marketing and that extends to the paper tray liners they use, with thetheme and jokes changed every few months. The latest one uses a Monopoly game board layout to drop a bunch of locally topical cracks that I won't bore you with. In the middle of the "board" was a new verse for that classic Depression song, "Brother can you spare a dime".Is this too true to be funny?
