Newt is a hoot!

Today we were treated to the spectacle of a man who has violated and devalued every core tenet of the Judeo-Christian religious heritage accusing the Obama administration of being anti religulous.
In an interview with FOX News, Gingrich said he strongly disagreed with Obama's choice of Harry Knox — an outspoken activist for gay rights — to the White House advisory council on faith-based initiatives.

"I think their goal is to have a very secular America in which government dominates everything," he said. "Why wouldn't you put an anti-religious, left-wing zealot on a faith-based group? It's a perfect pattern for this administration."

Since 2005, Knox has served as the director of the Human Rights Campaign, a national organization that advocates on behalf of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender individuals. He is also a former Methodist pastor.
So you are supposed to believe the mumblings of a man whose religious values have been more honored in the breach than in fact. Please do it quietly, we already have too many openly stupid people in this country.

  1. Newt was thrown out of his church in Georgia when he divorced his first wife when she had cancer and he wouldn't support his children, so the church had to provide Newt's ex-family with food and clothing until his ex-wife recovered.

Has Newt anywhere during his second and third marriages found a church that doesn't mind his lifestyle? Anybody know? I have a suspicion that he's a hypocrite who hasn't been in a church in 20 years.

Oh, and his sister Candace is gay. Do they get along since she moved to DC, despite his hate stance, or has he rejected his family of origin as well as his children and first and second wives?

    Oh, these family values Republicans!
