The other day
Elizabeth Edwards pointed out the obvious, that under Old Johnny Two-Face McCain's "health care" proposals neither she nor Old Johnny would have health care. Paul Krugman takes up that and other points as he talks about health care, again. The kernel of his arguments is simple.
And the international evidence on health care costs is overwhelming: the United States has the most privatized system, with the most market competition — and it also has by far the highest health care costs in the world.
You are covered until you are sick may be a profitable business model but does it really serve our needs?
