Tin soldiers are a poor defense
And the American public is slowly becoming aware of just how defenseless they are against both real and straw terrorists, thanks to Our Dear Embattled Leader and his venal, bungling minions. TPM Cafe has mined a gem from the latest Washington Post poll that the good folks in their newsroom managed to overlook.
Which political party, the (Democrats) or the (Republicans), do you trust to do a better job handling the U.S. campaign against terrorism?Given the WaPo's faithful watercarrying for ODEL and the gang, this oversight is understandable. That's why we should all help them spread the word.
The answer: Democrats 46%, Republicans 38% That's right: this poll's respondents preferred Dems not just on Iraq, but on the broader war on terror.
