Jos. Stalin, Republican philosopher?

Politics has long been described as left and right, but perhaps it would better be described as a circle. It would appear that the Legions of Wingnuttery have gone so far to the right that they have run smack-dab into that old icon of the extreme left, Joseph Stalin. As this article in the Washington Post by Dana Milbank makes clear, some conservative folk have taken the words of the late Soviet leader as their political guidance in the battle to destoy the American court system. It seems that constituional lawyer-author Edwin Vieira takes as his mantra for dealing with judges with the wrong basis for their jurisprudence, a quote from Stalin,

"Death solves all problems: no man, no problem."

If one listens carefully, one can hear Old Joe laughing in his niche in the Kremlin wall.
