Ben Carson jumps in the GOP Presidential pool

And manages to not create a ripple or a splash. And if it were not for the outrageously inane and insane comments he throws out with reckless abandon, it would be hard to notice him at all.
Has Ben Carson peaked?

The retired neurosurgeon announced Sunday in a Florida TV interview that he’s seeking the Republican presidential nomination. He’ll speak about his candidacy at Detroit’s Music Hall Center for the Performing Arts in the hometown where he endured a tough childhood and became one of the nation’s most prominent physicians.

Conservatives regard Carson, who’s 63, as a highly promising candidate. He’s outspoken, a Washington outsider and resolute in his political convictions.

But recently he’s faded somewhat, overshadowed by better-known, more experienced conservative White House hopefuls such as former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum.
Imagine the shame of being overshadowed by that Dick, Rick Santorum. Will Ben now open up his yapper and let loose with some choice remarks that set the base into a frenzy and turn off the rest of the voters? Time will tell.
